I cannot express how immensely grateful we are for the incredible transformation and healing that Celeste from KoruK9 brought into our lives, particularly in the life of our once highly reactive Great Pyrenees/Pitbull mix, Yondu. When Yondu first joined our family almost two years ago, his reactivity was a cause for concern, especially towards our cats and really anything that moved!
It was a challenging time for us until we found KoruK9 and connected with Celeste.
Under Celeste’s care during the six-week board and train program, Yondu embarked on a remarkable journey of healing. The regular updates, photos, and videos we received were a testament to the dedication and love Celeste poured into Yondu’s rehabilitation. From interacting with baby chicks to strolling calmly through Home Depot alongside her well-trained dogs, Yondu learned that he was safe and could trust the leaders around him. When he returned home, he was not only well-trained and less reactive but also looked to us for guidance. The most astonishing part of this journey is that Yondu, whose prey drive was strong for our cats, has now become their 24-7 security guard. He respects that our eldest cat is the head of the household and he is happy to play second in command to make sure our family is well protected.
While we admit to being a bit relaxed with some rules causing Yondu to backtrack a bit, he has maintained a strong foundation and continues to come back to his training.
Celeste’s patience, structure, and amazing training techniques had a profound impact on Yondu, saving his life and bringing harmony to our household. We thank both KoruK9 and Celeste for being such a big part of Yondus transformation. Their guidance and expertise are an investment that we consider invaluable, and we will forever be grateful for the joy and peace they’ve brought to our lives.
